Desert Activities at Sam Sand Dunes
₹100 per Person The sunset camel safari at Sam Sand Dunes is what Jaisalmer is known for. At 5:30pm, the dunes turn deep orange, your shadow stretches thirty feet behind you, and the city disappears entirely.
₹1,000 – ₹2,500 per Jeep 4×4 dune bashing across three major dunes at speed. The stomach-drop of cresting a 30-metre dune not knowing what is on the other side. Max 6 per jeep.
₹500 per Person Power through the sand on a desert quad bike. No roads, no rules — just open dunes and full throttle. Helmets provided. Suitable for ages 16 and above.
₹800 per Person Soar above the Thar Desert and see the Sam Sand Dunes from a bird’s-eye view. Certified operators, full safety equipment. Available October to March.
₹2,000 per Person The ultimate aerial view of the desert — a powered paraglider that takes you high above the dunes for an unmatched perspective of the Thar Desert landscape.
₹1,500 – ₹4,000 per Jeep No light pollution at Sam Sand Dunes. On clear winter nights the Milky Way is visible with the naked eye — a proper river of light. A bonfire is set up. Your guide names the constellations the Thar Desert traders once navigated by.
₹2,500 – ₹15,000 Birthday, anniversary, engagement, or any special occasion in the desert. Open air setup with artists, DJ/non-DJ options, dinner/non-dinner packages. Private table on the dunes, away from all other guests.
